English, ca 1880s, a vernacular Chippendale-style arm chair in oak with gothic carved and pierced splat, slip seat and a box stretcher; ht. 40.5, wd. 22, dp. 19 in.

Condition:  
Repairs. Damage to stretcher and splat.
