Keystone Magic Lantern Slides, Including American Indian,
1/19/2015 - American History: Timed Auction
One set as follows: Indian Basket Weaving, Prince Edward Island and Indian Woman Working on Moose Hide, near Atlin, British Columbia. Both images by the Keystone View Company of Meadville, Pennsylvania. Additional Keystone slides in this lot variously depict coal cars in Ohio, agriculture in New York State and ivory shipping from Mombassa. Slides in this lot produced by other firms show a Tokyo street scene, the summit of Pike's Peak in 1901, a yacht race, Admiral Dewey's Triumphal Arch in New York and two night views of a New York street lit up in celebration of American victories in 1898. All 4" x 3.25".

Condition:  
The Ohio coal scene and one of the New York night views have each a small peripheral crack. The other slides are intact, displaying only light wear from normal use.
