in large letters. German silver pommel, backstrap and guard. German silver scabbard with presentation inscription:
Presented to Lieut Joseph S. York,. 5th New York S. V. Duryees Zouaves by the Members of the New York bar for gallant servicers at the battle of Big Bethel June 10 1861.

Condition:
Sword is in excellent condition. Scabbard has a couple of very tiny small dents.
