.265 caliber, 3.5" octagonal barrel, S/N 10881. Marked on top of barrel Colts patent 1855, Address Col. Colt, Hartford Ct. USA.  Engraved Presentation on the backstrap: To Charles Robinson From Col Colt.  Walnut grips. 

Condition:  
All metal is sharp and crisp with traces of blue finish in the protected areas. Grips have nice dark patina with some nicks and dings.  Presentation inscription is dim, but readable.
