Civil War Era Knapsacks, Lot of Two

First item is a leather knapsack with wood frame. Exterior with white painted Co. A 21 and 6. Second item is a black painted canvas bag with the majority of the straps intact and complete. One strap is partially stamped R Valentine US inspector NY.

Condition:  
First item with buckles and straps, but straps are partially severed. Interior with both cotton tick lining as well as canvas lining. Second item is in good condition.
