American (New England), 19th century. A blanket chest in maple with a one board top with thumb molded edge opening to an interior with till and original hardware, the case over boot-jack ends and having a molding on the front edge; ht. 23, wd. 46, dp. 16.5 in.
Condition:
Refinished. Missing till lid. Latch on lock is broken, lock is present and original.
