Pair of Italian Flintlock Pistols
4/30/2014 - Firearms and Militaria: Live Salesroom Auction
.490 bore diameter, 9" fluted to round barrels, early style with goose neck hammers. Brass overlaid hammer screws. Fleur de lis-style iron triggerguard, iron crest with crown inlaid behind tangs.  Iron butt caps and ferules.  Raised carved walnut stocks.

Condition:  
Pistols are in good condition; both have had work done on the stocks.  Metal has been cleaned to bright, with some pitting.  Markings are clear and legible. One crest missing on one of the pistols.
