American, 19th century. Two overshot woven coverlets, one a double coverlet having a geometric and wave pattern in red wool and undyed linen and the other in wool, having a red and white geometric pattern and tan fringe; 82 x 71 and 82.25 x 57 in. respectively.

Condition:  
Double coverlet is almost entirely separated, needs repair. Staining and snags in red wool.
