Early US Militia Cavalry Saddle Holsters and Painted Martingale Group, ca 1850
4/30/2014 - Firearms and Militaria: Live Salesroom Auction
A brace of black leather pommel holsters with brass caps and yellow painted trim on the covers. For a large frame revolver, possibly a Walker Dragoon. Martingale of yellow painted leather trimmed in black. Nice horse accoutrements as used from the Mexican War through the Civil War.
Condition:
Cover detached from holsters, slight seam separation. Some cracks and tears on the straps.
