Bowie Knife by Crookes and Clark
4/30/2014 - Firearms and Militaria: Live Salesroom Auction
7.5" clip point blade with a 3" false edge, 11.75" overall length.  Marked on ricasso "Crookes & Clark".  Stag grips with steel tang. German silver shield on grips in between 1st and 2nd rivet. German silver quillon. Knife is complete with metal-covered leather sheath.

Condition:  
Blade has a minor salt and pepper pitting at ricasso and back of blade. Stag horn grips have a natural patina going from yellow to dark brown. Crack on back side of handle going from one side of tang to other side. Metal sheath covered with leather is in good shape. Leather has some flaking. Overall condition is very good.
