American, early 19th century. A pieced quilt featuring 40 nine-patch blocks in varying fabrics on a navy ground with flower pattern stitching, having a navy border with shell stitching and binding and reverse in blue and white mini houndstooth fabric; 75.5 x 82.25 in.

Property from a Cincinnati, OH Collector
Condition:
Some thinning, minor discoloration near binding on front. Small repair to stitching in central navy block, second row from edge, and to one corner.
