Indian Wars Hunting Knife and Trowel Bayonet Lot

Model 1880 hunting knife has an 8.5" fullered blade, brass crossguard marked "U.S. / SPRINGFIELD" and serial numbered, and ribbed oak grip. Second type black leather and brass scabbard arsenal altered in the 1890s with a brass belt hook. Model 1873 trowel bayonet has a 10" spade blade and knurled lines on the socket, complete with wood handle insert. Complete with black leather scabbard with belt loop and brass "US" swivel. 

Condition:  
Hunting knife grip has a chip on the pommel. Has oxidation on the brass fittings of the trowel bayonet scabbard
