Early Eagle Head Pommel Officer's Sword
4/30/2014 - Firearms and Militaria: Live Salesroom Auction
31" curved blade with etched panel oft floral designs an one military panel of shield, cannon and flag.  Finished in blue gilt. Brass eagle head pommel and D-shaped guard.  Spiral designed bone handle.  Gilt finished brass scabbard.

Condition:  
Blade still retains most of the vivid blue and gilt finish. Bone handle has some cracks. Pommel and guard retains some of the silver finish.  Scabbard with tarnished patina and traces of silver. Overall excellent.
