Antique German Under-Lever Drilling
4/30/2014 - Firearms and Militaria: Live Salesroom Auction
16x16x8.6mm caliber, 27" barrels, S/N
12589
. Blue finish, walnut checkered stocks, Monte Carlo cheek piece, Greener-style safety, set trigger, 4-cartridge bullet trap, cocking indicators, Krup Fluss Stahl barrels. Receiver is engraved with game scenes and floral patterns, bullet trap is nicely engraved and features a partridge in an oval. Horn pistol grip cap, sling swivels; offset claw mount scope bases.
Condition:
Very good condition with very good bores. The right shotgun bore has some pitting half way down the tube but may clean to better condition. The scope bases have been drilled and tapped, but the holes would be hidden with the proper scope attached. This was a fine gun in its day and is a good candidate for a proper restoration.
