American, 19th century. An unusually large oval, red painted pantry box in pine with five fingers and copper tack and construction; ht. 6, lg. 14.5 in.
Provenance:
From the Estate of Kenneth Erwin, Portland, Michigan
Condition:
Not painted under rim of lid. Multiple stains to interior. Split along one bend near to the lid. Split in lid, along with scratches and discoloration.
