Lot 1295

**U.S. Marked Remington Model 11 Shotgun
4/30/2014 - Firearms and Militaria: Live Salesroom Auction
12 ga., 21" barrel, S/N 74999. Parkerized finish, walnut stocks, top of barrel marked "U.S." with flaming ordnance bomb. Receiver marked on left side with a "P", flaming ordnance bomb, and "U.S."

Condition:
Very good condition with an excellent bore. The buttstock is a poorly fitted replacement and has several small chips at the top and bottom tangs.  It retains ca 97% of its parkerized finish and the forearm is excellent. This gun has a slight mechanical issue and the bolt gets hung up on the shell lifter and does not close completely. This should be an easy fix for a competent gunsmith.
