Tennessee Flintlock Kentucky Rifle
4/30/2014 - Firearms and Militaria: Live Salesroom Auction
.40 caliber, 44.5" octagonal barrel. Blade front sight with notched rear sight. Tang with three screws. Original flint, double-set triggers. Iron triggerguard, iron toe plate, iron buttplate, nosecap and ferules. Walnut stock.
Condition:
Rifle is excellent overall with nice dark patina blending well throughout the rifle. Stock with nice opened grain look and untouched patina. Tennessee rifles of this quality seldom come up for sale.
