.44 caliber smooth bore, 42.25" barrel length. Markings on front lock "
H. Elwell Warranted.

." Brown barrel hammer and lock. Brass trigger guard. Pewter cap and maple stock. Two metal ferules with ramrod.
Condition:
Wood has artificial striping. Stock retains most of the original finish. Brown on barrel, hammer and lock. Brass has a brown patina on brass triggerguard and buttplate. Stock has a crack through the toe. Overall condition is very good.
