.22 caliber, 3.25" barrel length, S/N 12890. Marked "Remingtons Ilion NY, Patent Oct .1.1861." Original blue finish with rosewood grips. Rare acid-factory etched and engraved frame. 

Condition:  
Retains 30% original bright blue overall thinning to a nice plum. Hammer with 50% of original blue. Markings are very sharp and crisp. Original rosewood grips. Etched panel engraved Remingtons are very rare and seldom come up for sale.
