Queen Ann Flintlock Pistol by JS Blowen
4/30/2014 - Firearms and Militaria: Live Salesroom Auction
.580 bore diameter, 5.5" cannon-style screw barrel. Marked on the bottom of frame
J. Blowen Watling Street
with two British Proofs. Engraved standing flags and London marked in a banner. Engraved hammer and frame. Carved stock with silver wire inlayed and silver-plated mask butt.
Condition:
Barrel, frame and hammer have a nice uniform brown patina. Stock is excellent.
