7" clip point blade, with a small notch on the the back of blade.  Marked in a oval cartouche along the top of the false edge is Cast Steel Bowie Knife." German silver crossguard with German silver ferule, German silver escutcheon, German silver clam shell design pommel.  Marked at the ricasso James Rodgers Celebrated Maker Sheffield. Checkered wood handle. Leather sheath. 

Condition:  
Blade is gunmetal grey with some light grey staining. Knife has been sharpened during the period of use. Scabbard is complete and shows some use.
