. Percussion underhammer wrapped around the triggerguard. Brass furniture. Engraved buttcap with bird dog and bird. Walnut stock with double wedge. The rarity of this pistol is discussed on pages 62 & 63 as well as 106 & 107 of
Underhammer Guns
by Herschel Logan. A copy of the book accompanies the pistol.
Condition:
Barrel is sharp and crisp with a grey-to-brown look. Stock is good with two small slivers of wood missing on both sides of the barrel, hardly noticeable. Pistol overall is very good.
