9" x 1.5" heavy spear point blade, overall 13.5", 6" false edge. Marked on the blade near the ricasso
James Rodgers, Celebrated, maker, Sheffield
, deeply stamped in an oval cast steel bowie knife. German silver guard and lined with German silver; German silver pommel and two-piece rosewood grips with German silver escutcheons and pins. Embossed leather scabbard with German silver tip and throat.

Condition:
Blade has been sharpened long ago with some black staining mixed with some light pitting. Wood handle has two light cracks. Overall the knife is excellent, and would make a great addition to a Bowie knife collection.
