American, 19th century. A cherry stand with poplar secondary of dovetailed and pinned construction, having a one-board top, a bow front with scratch-beaded frieze drawer and brass knob, rising on tapering legs; ht. 28, wd. 18.5, dp. 17.5 in.  The wide drawer and overall construction of this stand evoke Shaker elements common to Union Village, though the bow front is atypical.
