American, 19th century. A miniature four-poster bed in walnut with turned feet, turned posts with finial tops, a shaped footboard, and a shaped headboard with a turned upper crest; ht. 25.5, lg. 25.5, dp. 16.75 in.
Provenance:
Property from the Estate of Jane Murphy, Shandon, Ohio
Condition:
Each bedpost is missing a decorative finial upper that would have screwed into the top. Each bedpost has a hole at the joint that likely had a peg in it originally. Scattered scuffs and scratches to surface.
