32.25" plain blade, silver ring hilt. Small sword with leather scabbard maker marked at throat Loxham Royal Exchange. Hallmarks are mainly indistinct. Robert Loxham is recorded trading as a hatter and sword-cutler in 1794 at 88 Cornhill, Royal Exchange. This dates the sword to ca 1790.
