4/30/2014 - Firearms and Militaria: Live Salesroom Auction
Bvt. Maj. Gen. Lysander Cutler as Brig. Gen., clipped autographed affixed beneath portrait, with Fredricks & Co., New York backmark. Col. of the 6th Wisconsin and commander of the famous "Iron Brigade," Cutler led the brigade throughout 1863-64 including Gettysburg and was given a division in the Wilderness before attrition, but his declining health forced him to request relief.
