British Light Dragoon Pistol
4/30/2014 - Firearms and Militaria: Live Salesroom Auction
.640 bore diameter, 9" barrel, markings on front lock of "crown over
GR
". Marking behind hammer "Blair." Has brass furniture with pin-fasten walnut stock. Stock has a "beaver tail" near the tang. With a metal ram rod.
Condition:
The hammer, front lock, barrel, and ram rod all have a brown patina with some pitting. Brass furniture has nice mustard patina. Wood retains 70% of finish and has nicks and dings. Stock has a very small hairline crack right above the triggerguard. Overall condition is very good.
