.54 caliber, 8.5" round barrel, marked on the left side of barrel at breech US JH; and on the lockplate, US IN Johnson; in the rear of lockplate, Middtln Conn. and dated 1854.  Brass furniture and walnut stock.

Condition:  
Barrel and lock have an even matching dark untouched brown patina.  Stock and brass have an untouched patina. Missing ramrod.
