2nd Model Brown Bess Musket with Unit

.70 caliber, 42" round barrel. Top of barrel with Birmingham proofs. Regimental markings on the barrel, but illegible. Lockplate marked

. Brass furniture with walnut stock.
Condition:
Excellent overall, barrel has a nice dark brown patina with some pitting around the touch hole. Lock is is very sharp and crisp with nice untouched patina. Hammer has nice uniform look with some very fine minute pitting. Brass furniture with nice patina. Stock is excellent with some nicks and dings and one old repair at the third ferule. This is a very nice second model Brown Bess.
