Floral Watercolor Attributed to Adolf Hitler
4/30/2014 - Firearms and Militaria: Live Salesroom Auction
Adolf Hitler (German, 1889-1945).  Watercolor on a woven artist paper, signed at the stalk, l.c. and dated 1911; 15.5 x 8.25 in. (sight).  unframed.

Accompanying the painting is a typed letter from Peter Jahn, dated September 18, 1980 (Vienna).  Jahn was regarded as the expert on Hitler's work, having been assigned to locate Hitler's extant work from the years from 1937-1941.

Condition:  
Slightly toned, otherwise in fine condition.
