.58 RF caliber, 40" barrel. Lockplate dated 1863 and marked Parker Snow & Co, Meriden Conn. Top of breechblock marked WH & GW Miller Patent. Walnut stock.

Condition:  
All metal has a brown patina. Stock has been cleaned and repaired.  A piece of wood has been placed on the left side 0.5" by 7" just above the front sidelock screw running to the first band. Also a piece of wood has been replaced behind the hammer.
