**Remington Model 1894 FE Grade Side-by-Side Double-Barrel Shotgun
4/30/2014 - Firearms and Militaria: Live Salesroom Auction
12 ga., 30" barrels choked IM/IM, S/N P133138. Walnut checkered stocks, English buttstock, splinter forearm, DT, ejectors, ivory mid-bead, barrels marked "TRAP GUN, "F" GRADE, REMINGTON ARMS CO., ILION, N.Y." Drop at heel 2.5"; drop at comb 1.75".

Condition:  
Excellent condition with excellent bores. This gun retains ca 98% original barrel blue and 95% original case colors which have mellowed and are thinning. The wood is excellent with only some very light scratches and handling marks. There is a .5" patch of rust pitting on the left side of the frame just aft of the breech and there are three tiny chips at the toe of the buttplate. This is a scarcely encountered shotgun in high condition.
