Jacob Maentel (American, 1763 - 1863), early 19th century. Two very fine, detailed profile portraits in watercolor, one of Jacob Meyer, and one of his wife, Mrs. Jacob Meyer. 6.5 x 10.75 in. (sight). Unsigned. Framed and glazed with printed labels from <i>Stephen Gemberling Americana,York, PA" on verso of each, along with inked identification of subjects.
