Model 1847 Springfield Artillery Musketoon

.69 caliber, 26" round barrel. Lockplate marked with eagle US under the bolster; in the rear, Springfield. Walnut stock.

Condition:  
All metal is grey with salt & pepper pitting. Small piece of wood missing from burnout on the right side of tang.  Stock was cleaned many years ago.
