Model 1808 Harpers Ferry Musket
4/30/2014 - Firearms and Militaria: Live Salesroom Auction
.69 caliber, 44.5" round barrel,  Lockplate marked with an eagle US under the pan and in the rear of lockplate Harpers Ferry 1808.  Walnut stock with barrel bands.

Condition:  
Barrel has some brown staining mixing with patina, pitting around the touch hole and protruding onto the barrel.  Lockplate is brown mixing with pitting on the hammer, hammer screw, pan is a replacement. Triggerguard, buttplate and bands has some pitting mixing with a brown patina. Stock has been cleaned with a replacement on the left side of the tang.  Also  16.5" of the  front end of stock has been replaced.
