.54 caliber, 33.5" octagonal-to-round barrel.

stamped into the left flat of barrel at breech. Lockplate marked
R. Johnson US
. Finger-grooved triggerguard, Bands held with studs. Brass tipped ramrod. Walnut stock.
Condition:
Barrel has nice grey-to-brown patina mixing with some pitting. Lockplate with grey to brown patina. Hammer may be an old replacement. Stock has been cleaned. Stock has some nicks and dings.
