Model 1814 Rifle by R. Johnson
4/30/2014 - Firearms and Militaria: Live Salesroom Auction
.54 caliber, 33.5" octagonal-to-round barrel.  LS stamped into the left flat of barrel at breech. Lockplate marked R. Johnson US. Finger-grooved triggerguard,  Bands held with studs. Brass tipped ramrod. Walnut stock.

Condition:  
Barrel has nice grey-to-brown patina mixing with some pitting. Lockplate with grey to brown patina. Hammer may be an old replacement. Stock has been cleaned.  Stock has some nicks and dings.
