American, mid 19th century. A cotton appliqué quilt cover in the Rose of Sharon pattern, comprised of twenty blocks and surrounded by a border of alternating leaves, flowers, and distelfinks; 79 x 93 in.

From the Estate of Kenneth Erwin, Portland, Michigan
Condition:
This is a quilt top, with no batting or backing. Some staining and toning. Six of the twenty blocks are made up of two smaller pieces of fabric.
