Model 1879 Springfield Trapdoor Rifle

and eagle, S/N

. 1879 rear barrel sight, with the later '89 hood over the front sight. Original leather sling. Walnut stock.
Condition:
Barrel still retains 95% of the original blue finish some turning plum. Breechblock and tang have all of the original case colors just lightly turning dark. Lock and hammer retain all of the original blue finish. Stock is mint with nice open-grained look and a mint SWP/1883 cartouche. Bore is excellent.
