.44 caliber, 44" octagonal flared barrel. Notched rear barrel sight; blade front. Lock with sporting-style hammer and marked

. Brass triggerguard. Maple stock with no ramrod ferules or buttplate and a grease hole in the right side of buttstock.
Condition:
Barrel has an untouched chocolate brown finish. Stock has had a piece of wood put in running from the nose cap on the left side back about 9" and a 0.25" wide, and on the right side about 2" from the nose cap, 15" by 0.25". A piece of wood has been added in front of the lockplate. Two side plate screws have been replaced. Stock has some nicks and dings.
