Model 1840 Pomeroy Flintlock Musket

U.S. J.H Pin
an oval; dated
1844
on the tang. Lockplate marked
L. Pomeroy
with eagle. Dated
1842
and
US
marked on the rear of lockplate, Three barrel bands and walnut stock.
Condition:
Barrel is nice with a dull grey look. Sharp and crisp markings. Lockplate and barrel have a nice uniform look. Stock has very sharp lines. Nice dark untouched stock. This is an excellent 1840 musket.
