Model 1855 Iron-Mounted Harpers Ferry Rifle

and eagle near breech, dated
1860
on the top of breech. Lockplate marked
1860
in the rear. Eagle on Maynard tape primer cover,
Harpers Ferry
. Two barrel bands with saber bayonet attachment. Walnut stock with iron patchbox.
Condition:
All metal has very sharp and crisp markings. Metal parts have been cleaned to bright with some very minute pitting on some parts. Stock is very sharp and crisp with remains of a vague cartouche.
