American, 19th century. An assembled group of red-, green-, and black-painted oval covered pantry boxes, having pine tops and bottoms with bent maple sides, joined with two opposing fingers and metal tacks; largest ht. 2.5, dia. 5 x 6.5 in.

From the Estate of Kenneth Erwin, Portland, Michigan
Condition:
Some surface wear and paint loss. A few small splits near tacks. Green painted box with small loss near bottom edge. Red box with crayon marks on interior.
