American, 1876.  A Centennial coverlet having Salmon, blue, green, and brown dyed wool on a natural cotton ground, a large central design of the Centennial Exposition's Memorial Hall, flanked by armorial eagles and floral medallions in the upper corners, with a detailed floral background and border.  The coverlet is mounted on a wooden rod for wall display; 76 x 78 in.

Condition:  
Fringe has been cut or worn away.  Some minor stains and small areas of wear and loss, but overall good condition.
