Staffordshire Texian Campaigne Plate and Bowl, Plus

English, 19th century. A historic green and purple transfer-decorated Staffordshire plate and bowl depicting two officers on horseback fighting within a smoke filled battle scene, the undersides marked Texian Campaigne within a cartouche and having the initials JB, the plate also marked with a 3 in blue, PLUS two brown Peruvian Horse Hunt transferware plates by Shaw, marked Shaw's / Peruvian / Horse / Hunt within a cartouche between two horses, PLUS a brown Toro pattern transfer-decorated plate by C. Allerton & Sons, having a central reserve and border comprised of cattle and horse roping scenes, printed maker and pattern mark on verso, PLUS a Potsdam transferware plate by Pierre Regout, with a central scene of soldiers on horseback within a blue floral border, marked Potsdam / Pierre Regout and impressed P. Regout / Maastricht; largest dia. 10.5 in.

Condition:  
Surface with light wear and scratches. Texian Campaigne pieces with some wear and glaze loss around rims. Plate with a chip in the middle of rim and on the underside of rim. Bowl having sticker residue on bottom. One Peruvian Horse Hunt plate with crazing, other with crack. Toro plate with some pitting to glaze. Potsdam plate with chip under rim.
