32" curved blade with single fuller; ricasso marked
Ames Manufacturing Co., Chicopee, Mass.;
reverse marked
U.S., C.F.W., 1864
. Brass pommel and knuckle bow; leather wrapped handle with brass wire. Metal scabbard.
Condition:
Very good condition with some salt and pepper staining on the blade and a brown patina on the scabbard. The "Ames Manufacturing S." marking on the blade is faint.
