Albumen cabinet card photograph of a rifle, sword drum, and distressed battle flag of the 60th Ohio Veteran Volunteer Infantry.  Verso with the imprint of photographer George R. Elliott of Columbus seller M. O'Boyle, listed at Flag Room, Capitol.

The 60th O.V.V.I. was organized in early 1864 and fought with distinction at the Battle of the Wilderness, North Anna, Cold Harbor, and Fredericksburg, and finished the war on duty in Richmond.

Edge and corner wear, soiling, and a water stain visible on verso.
