Lot 283

Early 19th Century Handbill For Fancy Glass Working, N.Y.,
1/20/2014 - Discovery Auction
early 19th century handbill for Fancy Glass Working, N.Y. 6 x 11”, slight loss at usual fold, some foxing. The “artist” proclaims there is scarcely anything in Nature or Art (that can) be successfully imitated through his works in glass and enamel. In addition to selling his wares, he ran an emporium that charged a fee to come view his exhibition. A fun ephemeral item.
